Code of Conduct
CODE OF CONDUCT
The Obsidian Games mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for people to enjoy fantastic hobbies in our community. Our space is purpose built to facilitate play. We intend to provide frequent opportunities for people to come together and enjoy those hobbies.
Tabletop games, trading card games, roleplaying games and other games enjoyed in the Obsidian Games store (or elsewhere) require 2 or more players to enter a social contract. This contract is usually implied; however, the purpose of this Code of Conduct is to establish explicit basic parameters for players to follow ahead of time.
Obsidian Games reserves the right to prevent, ban or remove any player from their premises temporarily or indefinitely for any reason at their sole discretion with or without warning.
Some occurrences which will absolutely result in a ban include but are not limited to:
● Cheating of any kind, whether proven definitively or just highly suspected.
● Theft.
● Intimidation or bullying language or actions to other players or employees.
● Racial, ethnic, sexual or gender-based derogatory language, motions, gestures, actions or content.
● Purposeful destruction of Obsidian Games property. You will be charged for the cost of replacing the equipment.
Should you feel unsafe or uncomfortable in a gaming interaction, please immediately notify a staff member so that it can be dealt with in a timely manner.
In addition, please:
● Be courteous of other people around your gaming area; you are likely not the only person or persons enjoying the space.
● Maintain a basic level of hygiene such that it does not interfere with others.
● Clean up your garbage/area once you are finished your session.
